Iranian short ‘Childish Honesty’ to screen at Bulgaria Filmfest

Directed and written by Mehdi Tohidi the short film ‘Childish Honesty’ has been selected to screen at the International Festival of the Red Cross and Health Films in Bulgaria.

It’s the fourth time that the short participates in an international festival. It had been selected to screen at Int’l First-Time Filmmaker Film Festival in the UK in March 2019.

‘Childish Honesty’ was produced by Meshginshahr Youth Cinema Society of Iran.

Organized by the Bulgarian Red Cross, International Festival of the Red Cross and Health Films, the short film succeeds to receive an "A" category, the same as the festivals in Cannes, Venice, San Sebastian, and others.

Each year between 150 and 170 movies in healthcare, assistance and humanitarian idea from 50 to 70 countries participate and give the local audiences the opportunity to meet with important names in the field of cinema, art, medicine, and science.

The 17th edition of the festival is scheduled to start from June 14.
